Notre Dame du Lac Assisted Living Residence is a warm and welcoming faith-based community that provides assisted living and memory care for seniors. ​Our home-like setting provides a place where residents can receive the personalized service they need with the safety, dignity, and quality of life they deserve.

When you become a resident of assisted living at Notre Dame du Lac, you’ll receive more than help with day-to-day personal care— you become part of a community dedicated to supporting your independence and well-being.​

Assisted Living Services and Amenities​

The services and amenities offered at Notre Dame du Lac are designed to make life more enjoyable and worry-free.

There’s something for everyone, from delicious meals to housekeeping and linen services, exercise and fitness classes, indoor and outdoor activities, and much more. In addition, personal assistance is available when a helping hand is needed with daily activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming, medication management, and transportation services.

Services included in the monthly fee:

  • 24-hour staffing, with nurses on-site daily and on call 24/7

  • Up to one hour per day of personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, personal grooming, escorts, and self-administered medication management

  • Personal emergency response system

  • Three delicious meals prepared daily and served in our elegant dining room, along with beverages and snacks

  • Scheduled transportation for shopping, medical appointments, and community trips

  • Weekly housekeeping and flat linen services

  • Hospitality and transition services for new residents

  • Diverse educational and support services for residents and family members

  • Full calendar of social, educational, cultural, and spiritual programs

  • Health screenings

Spirituality and Pastoral Care

Well-being is more than just physical health. It’s about the whole person — Mind, Body, and Spirit. ​We celebrate and respect the dignity of each person as they continue to grow and develop their unique relationships with God, self, and others.​

  • Daily Mass celebrated in our chapel (except Saturdays)
  • Rosary, discussion groups and other devotional and spiritual practices

At our assisted living facilities in Worcester MA, we are able to provide two senior living options within our community. We offer Traditional Assisted Living apartments as well as our Harmony Memory Care Neighborhood. Additionally, we are on the same campus as Notre Dame Long Term Care and Rehabilitation Center which has its own Harmony Village. This allows our residents to utilize multiple levels of care without having to leave the Notre Dame Health Care family.

We pride ourselves on our communication with families. We connect with family members via phone, email, and mailings. You can also find updates in our For Residents & Families area, and on our very active Facebook page, so check those often to stay up to date with what is going on throughout the organization, and keep an eye out for photos of your loved one taking part in our numerous activities.

No. Notre Dame du Lac welcomes all individuals regardless of religion, race, sexual orientation, or gender.

When you contact us, the types of questions we’ll ask you are:

  • Tell me about what your loved one’s daily routine looks like
  • Are they currently receiving any services in their home? If so, what are they and how frequently?
  • Where are they currently living?
  • What is their memory like? Are there any issues with short-term or long-term memory?
  • Do they use any type of assistive device for ambulation, such as a walker, wheelchair, cane, or motorized wheelchair?
  • Are they currently using insulin or any sliding scale medications?
  • Are they able to make their needs known?
  • Tell us more about them (age, marital status, etc.)
  • Do they have any dietary restrictions or allergies that we should be aware of?
  • What activities do they enjoy doing? What things are important to them?
